Free training for artistic and creative entrepreneurs

Are you a creative entrepreneur or a self-employed artist from a minority community? If so the University of Bedfordshire is offering you free training on running a creative enterprise.
 
The PACE (Professional Training for Artistic and Creative Entrepreneurs) project will help you develop practical skills in running a small business and teach you how to market your creative enterprise whilst managing your own and others’ creativity.

Towards 2010

Towards 2010 is an initiative funded by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) and the European Social Fund which offers employers a significant contribution towards the cost of training. Between 50 and 70 per cent of the cost of training is available to support initiatives that focus on improving business performance.

Typical training programmes could include:

  • Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of your production line
  • Updating computer skills
  • Extending leadership and management skills
  • Improving marketing skills that will assist you to win new business

'Towards 2010' will operate until August 2007 with a focus upon businesses within key sectors including the Creative sector.
